Selvanathan Educational Foundation founded Alpha to Omega Global School. The objective was to implement research-based teaching techniques and instructional programmes to build and strengthen cognitive skills and help children learn critical content in schools and achieve better in life. The Foundation has it roots from its parent body Sri Krishna Trust which has thirty-five years of experience in helping students with Specific Learning Difficulties for remedial intervention and full-day school faculties. The intention is to build an inclusive mainstream classroom to meet the needs of today’s heterogenous classrooms.

Our commitment to the community is one of the key foundations of Alpha to Omega. We don’t just operate a school and learning centre for commercial purposes. We are here for the long-term and are instilled in our founding principles that quality education with quality teachers must aim to reach all areas of the community.
Our teacher training programmes are based on this premise. We share our knowledge of techniques with parents, teachers and therapists in India so that they can work with and impact a larger group of children.
Alpha to Omega, India, 10% of children at the school are funded through the proceeds of the Sri Krishna Trust.
Our trust and board will work together for the good any student in an inclusive environment is a central value of Alpha to Omega Global School.

My name is Prithvi, I joined Alpha to Omega in 2006. When I first came, I was hyperactive and short-tempered. With the constant guidance and care from my teachers, I have grown into a more focused, calm, and confident individual.

I am deeply grateful to Alpha to Omega and its dedicated faculty for shaping who I am today. Having spent most of my schooling here from 1997 to 2011, ATO became more than a school, it became my foundation. Through ATO’s specialized teaching methods, including Instrumental Enrichment, structured reading, spelling, and writing strategies, I gradually developed confidence, academic skills, and a positive outlook.
Today, I am proud to be working in a reputed hotel in Chennai, growing in confidence every day and aspiring to pursue my Master’s soon. ATO’s commitment to inclusive education, individualized support, and holistic development truly transforms lives. I will always be thankful for the guidance and encouragement I received.
Alpha to Omega played a crucial role in shaping my academic and professional journey. Initially, I was anxious about joining a new school due to my learning difficulties, and I struggled to adapt in my early days. However, with the consistent support, patience, and structured coaching from the teachers, I gradually built confidence and improved my skills.
The specialized strategies such as Instrumental Enrichment, spelling rules, and writing techniques helped me succeed academically. With this strong foundation, I completed my B.Sc. in Hotel Management from SRM University and am now working as a Guest Service Associate at ITC Grand Chola, Guindy.
I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Lalitha Ramanujan and the entire ATO faculty for their guidance, care, and belief in me. Alpha to Omega truly empowers students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
My journey at Alpha to Omega (ATO) gave me an identity of my own. As a student with cerebral palsy, I joined ATO at the age of twelve, unsure of my abilities. With the constant support, inclusive environment, and personalized guidance from the teachers: especially Mrs. Lalitha Ramanujan, I discovered my strengths and built confidence.
ATO’s focus on independence, life skills, and holistic development helped me grow into a self-reliant, social, and communicative individual. The teachers go beyond academics, offering emotional support, encouragement, and belief in every child’s potential.
